Glass Animals - Denver Concert Photos - Mission Ballroom

Glass Animals at Mission Ballroom

I have been waiting to see Glass Animals live for so long! Same story as everyone in recent times; the band kept having to push their dates back again again – until they finally played our lovely Mission Ballroom. Perfect timing too, because during that timeframe their song “Heat Waves” made a slow but steady ascension to Number 1 on the Billboard charts… landing there right before the Denver date. Congrats, guys!

As you can tell from the photos below, Glass Animals has an elaborate neon backdrop to their stage shows, but that’s really just the cherry on top – because the band themselves are definitely what make their concerts fun. Dreamy psychedelic pop that gets you dancing right along with them.

Glass Animals are up for Best New Artist at this weekend’s Grammy awards (which is humorous to me since they have been a band since 2010). Having said that, they are definitely our pick for the award! They return to Denver this summer for a two nights at Red Rocks, so I hope we can celebrate together yet again.
